World Hepatitis Day – Take Action For To Eliminate Is Achievable

World Hepatitis Day raises awareness of viral hepatitis, and inflammation of the liver that causes severe liver disease and cancer. With the latest data statistics declaring a person dying very 30 seconds from a hepatitis-related illness, it is time to call for action on better prevention, diagnosis, and treatment to preserve and save lives, and ultimately improve health outcomes. There are 5 main strains of hepatitis virus – A, B, C, D, and E. Together, Hepatitis B and C are the most common infections and result in 1.3 million deaths and 2.2 million new infections per year. 

This World Hepatitis Day, we at New Marketlink Pharmaceutical Corporation are in full support to call for action to end this entirely preventable disease. Our goals include that everyone can have the knowledge and understanding they need to make informed choices about hepatitis testing, treatment and vaccination. For decision makers to become advocates, providing the resources needed to improve the lives of affected communities.
