National Disability Prevention & Rehabilitation Week – Being Disabled Does Not Hinder You To Be Of Help To Society

It is certain that someone we know identifies as PWD, and chances are one of them is a family member, or a friend. It is visible to us the physical struggles they face as they suffer from their disability, and how we should lend them a helping hand for times that they need it. As we delve into this week of tribute to our disabled brothers and sisters, it is important to note that this tribute aims to raise awareness about disability issues and promotes the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. This week also highlights efforts in disability prevention and rehabilitation, and encourages the public to take responsibility for improving the social and economic conditions of people with disabilities.
