  1. Eat a Heart-Healthy Diet

Your diet plays a vital role in heart health. Incorporate nutrient-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Reduce consumption of processed foods, trans fats, and added sugars, which can lead to high cholesterol and weight gain—two major risk factors for heart disease.

Regular physical activity strengthens your heart and improves circulation. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise, such as brisk walking, cycling, or dancing, each week.

Chronic stress can take a toll on your heart. Practice stress management techniques like mindfulness, meditation, or yoga. These activities help lower blood pressure and promote emotional balance.
