Health Workers’ Day: Honoring The Extraordinary Role of Dedicated Health Workers On The Frontlines of Global Health Crises

Being a Health Worker might just be one of the most dedicated and health-risking professions out there, but our health workers do it anyway because they’re all about saving lives before their very own. It’s beyond dedication, but rather a calling for most of our health professionals who believe in the beauty and essence of their skill; something that is literally beneficial to the lives of so many people. 

We at NMPC acknowledge and regard the fundamental role of one’s medical skill in any form as vital for the betterment of countless lives, not just among Filipinos, but for the lives of every nation and tongue. A nation would not function well to its full potential with a relatively low demographic. Therefore, it will always be a moral act of service to give back to the community despite performing such a hazardous role in order to save lives, and keep the community healthy. 

We come together to honor the lives of these frontliners in the medical sphere – from outbreak responders to laboratory experts, risk communicators, community health workers, and field epidemiologists – as they stand testament to the dedication of public health workers on the frontlines of global health crises, strengthening health security both abroad and at home.
