National Cancer Survivors Day

National Cancer Survivors Day is celebrated each year on the first Sunday in June. It is a day of celebration and remembrance to all the surviving patients of this perilous disease. It is a poignant Celebration of Life that aims to inspire, give awareness about what we can do to prevent cancer in our bodies, and witness the survivors’ testimonials about their journey against the disease. This day is celebrated with the opportunity for all people living with cancer to get the chance to connect with each other, celebrate milestones, and recognize those who had supported them along the way. It doesn’t matter if you aren’t a cancer survivor, for NCSD is a day celebrated with everyone – whether you’re a cancer survivor, caregiver, healthcare professional, family member, or friend – to empower and join solidarity with cancer survivors around the world.

We at NMPC recognize all types of cancer survivors and how their perseverance and strength has helped them overcome this perilous health journey. It takes real fighting spirit to get yourself together and eliminate the world’s deadly disease from your body, and we believe that faith is a major contributing factor to the success and survival from cancer. Join us as we celebrate the lives of cancer survivors locally and around the world, with the inspiring truth that their fight against cancer is a testimony to their willingness to live life to the fullest.
